We had a great time in NYC! We spent the week of Christmas there to celebrate my in-law's 25th anniversary! It was so much fun, despite the FREEZING temps, tons of people, and all that wind! I really don't know why I bothered fixing my hair that week haha.
Some highlights of the trip included:
-Going to the Late Show with David Letterman!
-Going to the top of the Empire State building AND Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Center)
-Seeing the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
-not sure if this is a highlight or not...but I rode the Subway for the first time!
I had to face 3 of my fears: walking on grates, riding elevators, and being in VERY dirty nasty subway trains!!!!!! I am a HUGE germ-a-phobe, and those trains smelled of puke and urine, to put it lightly.
But it was a great trip, and I got to see so many things that i've only seen on TV, which was so cool!

That is so fun! I want to go back to NYC during thanksgiving next year and watch the macys thanksgiving day parade. I'm glad y'all had a great time! :)
