Happy New Year!

We had a great time with Matt's family as we rang in the new year! Full of food, games, fun and fellowship. I hope everyone had a great New Years Eve as well!

2009 was a great year for Matt and I! Getting married, moving into our first apartment and getting the coolest cat are up there on the list. Along with Matt graduating college, starting seminary and finding out that we're going to have a niece in May! We were very blessed in 2009 and can't wait to see what 2010 has in store for us!

I'm not one to start new year resolutions, but this year we're both making the same one... to eat healthier. After we said "I do" and went on our honeymoon, we just started eating whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. That trend just kept going and going, and now we're going to cut that habit. The way we're going to do that is weight watchers. I have done weight watchers in the past and was able to lose 25 pounds, so I am starting that back up. Matt will kind of do weight watchers, but really he just needs healthier foods, not necessarily the smaller portions.



This is our newest purchase. This cookbook has tons of yummy and healthy meals! We're pretty excited about it (or at least I am!) and can't wait to start cooking from it. My goal is to get back to my normal weight by June 2010, right in time for our family beach vacation!

One way to keep me motivated is to publically post on our blog our updates. This doesn't mean I will be posting our weight on here or anything, but just a simple update saying we're still on track and seeing results. That way I will kinda feel like you all are behind us, cheering us on! So here's to losing weight and getting healthy in 2010!
