Well, we've been married for almost 10 months now, and we're already beginning a new chapter in our lives! As some of you know, Matt has accepted a ministry position at a new church in North Richland Hills, TX. He will be the College and Young Singles minister at Davis Blvd Baptist Church starting Feb. 8! We have put a lot of prayer and thought into making this decision, and we are excited about following God's will. We will definitely miss everyone at Audubon Park Baptist, especially the youth! They are crazy at times, sweet at all times, and eager to learn more about God's Word! We love you guys!
The next few months will be pretty crazy for us. We will still be living in Plano, commuting to Ft. Worth for church and seminary(for Matt) and then on March 15th we will make the big move to Irving! We are very much ready to get settled into our new apartment, but it will be pretty sad leaving our first apartment. So many memories, the only home Jade knows of, and spending our first Christmas together in that apartment. All the complaints I had about it seem so silly now... "I'm tired of this "U" shaped apartment!", "this kitchen is so not made for a chef!"... and so on and so on. Now we're moving to an "L" shaped apartment, with an even smaller kitchen. Ooh well! :)
The interior designer in me has come out in full stride! Our new place has a second bedroom, which we will be using as the study. I've always wanted to have a Texas themed room, and I finally get it!! It has been so much fun shopping around for cute Texas things, and I can't wait to show it off to you guys!

I never thought of your apartment as being U-shaped! haha You've got a lot to look forward to and no one take away memories...Each step is growing and maturing and I wish you both the best in this next phase of your marriage!
