I'm losing it..

the weight that is! A few posts back I mentioned that I was going back on Weight Watchers. Well... it went so so. I had good days, and then really bad days. More bad days than good. I just wasn't motivated. Until now.

I got on the scale for the first time since that post, and surprisingly, I had lost 5 pounds. Thats good, and bad. If I had kept up with counting the points, I should be saying "i've lost 10 pounds!" right now.

So, i'm starting fresh! I got on the scale on Sunday, took the before pictures, and even worked out! I have been counting the points religiously since Sunday! I am really excited about stepping back on the scale this Sunday, even if it's only 1 pound, that is still 1 pound that I don't have anymore.

My goal is to lose 15 pounds by July, right in
time for our family beach vacation!

Remember me saying that we bought the WW Cookbook? Well, embarrassingly, I just now fully looked through the book, doggy tagging all the good (cheap) meals. So far we have had 2 meals from the book.

Monday Night
We had oven "fried" chicken, and it was mmm mmm good!!! For the "fried" crust I dipped the chicken into fat-free buttermilk, and tossed it in flour, crunched up corn flakes and some seasoning. For a whole chicken breast, it was only 5 points! For the sides we had green beans (no added butter, so it was zero points) and 3-4 apple slices (again, zero points).

Tuesday Night
We had twice-baked potatoes, another yummy meal for only 4 points. This was a very easy meal to make. Below is the recipe :)

I am really enjoying all the new healthy meal options, and shockingly so is Matt! Even though it has only been 4 days into the diet, I already feel better, maybe because of the food choices i'm making.

Let the journey begin!
