Kaley comes to Dallas!

Tonight my sister, brother-in-law, niece, and cousin came over to our place! I was so so so excited about this visit, and what do you know...I get sick. I woke up yesterday with a fever, stayed home from work, was so mad that of all the times to get sick, it had to be when company is coming over. I got the fever down, but still felt nasty. I was able to hold Kaley for a minute or so, and then had to let her go, because the nose faucet decided to turn on. Oh well, I will get more time with my Kaley bear later on!

One cute thing, I told Kaley "welcome to Dallas! Your real home!" And she looked up at me and gave me the biggest smile!! She is a true Texan, just happened to be born in another state.

The meeting happened between Kaley and Jade tonight. I have been looking forward to this moment for a long time, and it finally happened! Jade walked up to Kaley, sniffed her toes, was being a very good girl. They then had a staring contest, both had looks on their faces like "what the heck is that?" and then it happened....Kaley let out a big cry and Jade got startled and hissed at poor Kaley! Jade NEVER hisses!!! I was shocked, Matt got concerned about when we have kids one day, and it was a big mess. Jade then had to be locked up for the rest of the night. Maybe the next visit will be better....here's to hoping!
