I'll start with Friday night. My parents drove up from Houston and Matt and I met up with them at Cheesecake Factory, to celebrate my birthday a little early (for timing issues). It was a WONDERFUL meal, with great conversation. Our waiter saw that I had a birthday card in my hand (from my parents) and asked if it was my birthday. Well, technically no, but I went ahead and said yes, haha. After our meal I heard yelling and clapping, and around the corner came a crew of waiters with my cheesecake on a decorated plate that said "Happy Birthday Holly!" How cute! They even put a candle in the cheesecake haha.
Then Saturday was my niece's first birthday party. Wow. My sister did an amazing job planning this party, and Kaley LOVED it! Her favorites of the day were ripping up tissue paper and carrying around 2 Kit Kat bars (still in the wrapping) and she chewed the mess out of both of them until the chocolate was liquid. Don't ask me how the crunchy part of the Kit Kat also turned into liquid...that girl wouldn't give them up!
I offered to take the pics that day, so they could relax and just enjoy the party. Here are a few I took at the party. (My sister and her mother in law made every single cupcake!)
