Life lately

Not gonna lie, we have been crazy busy ever since we said "I do", but I wouldn't have it any other way! I posted this picture of downtown because it's pretty :) and it's where Matt goes every day for seminary. He absolutely enjoys every second of being downtown! I've never met anyone so facinated with downtown Dallas than him. Seminary is going good, sure is keeping him busy! We still get almost every night together to hang out, which is a huge blessing for anyone in seminary! I'm so thankful that he gets all his studying done before coming home! He is currently taking bible study methods and hermeneutics, elementary Greek, spiritual life, evangelism, and introduction to theology.


This is where Jade was sleeping when I woke up this morning. Isn't she strange?? She is growing wider everyday, while her head stays the same size. She eats everything in site! The other night she snuck a bow tie pasta from the stove and scarfed it down in 2 minutes. Her new annoying habit is to attack the bathroom floor mats... and by attack I mean she actually pulls out each individual carpet fiber that then ends up all over our carpet because it sticks to the bottom of our feet. It's very frustrating!

Our first Halloween! This year we were ketchup and mustard, a big hit at the church fall festival! Matt was volunteered to be the turkey in the turkey shoot... which is a game where kids throw pies at his face. He was a good sport and the kids had a blast! He did smell like soured milk all the way home though... yuck!! My job was to be the family photographer, which was pretty cool, the families loved getting a free fall picture of their kids dressed up in their costumes. The fall festival was a huge success this year with over 200 people! Such a blessing for our church.

That's about all that has been going on with us lately, promise for more interesting updates to come during the holidays!
