On Saturday all I wanted to do was have a day off, or "PJ" day is what I like to call it. It was great to just lay on the couch all day and just not do a thing! But of course.. it had to end at some point, and at 6pm I wanted to get out and shop. After shopping for about an hour we got the grand idea of riding the Dart train to downtown Dallas! If you've never been on public transportation before.... It's scary at night!! I looked like a deer in headlights whenever another suspicious person got on our train car. Matt was laughing at me the whole time. We finally made it to our connection station downtown, where there were about 10 cop cars with their lights on surrounding the station we had to get off at!! GREAT! Now I'm shaking, and not because of the cool temperatures. We still don't know what happened, but luckily our next train came about 2 minutes later. We ended up going to Victory Plaza to watch the channel 8 news, but they were at the other studio that night :( but it was ok, there was a Mavs game at the AA Center so we kinda watched the game through the doors. We won!We walked downtown a little then headed back home, where we sat next to a man who literally just got out of jail! But he was a pretty cool guy to talk to, and there were tons of people on the train from the mavs game so I wasn't as scared as I was on the way down there :)
It was a fun adventurous weekend! Hope everyone else had fun weekends too!

I don't think I'd like the train at night, either. I barely liked it in the daytime! Glad you both are taking advantage of what the city offers....
