Easter Weekend

Happy Easter everyone! Our Easter weekend has been full of family fun! It started on Friday night when we went to our church to see the Passion play. It was a.maz.ing. Very strong and powerful musical telling the real story of Easter. It was a cast and crew of over 90 people!! And our church has about 200 members, how amazing is that? We love our church home, love love love it.

Saturday morning we headed over to my in-laws house, where the women (my mother-in-law, her mom and myself) went to get mani/pedi's! It was FABULOUS and much needed! If I had the money to do that every week, believe me, i'd be the first one there. Getting a leg massage and an arm massage at the same time was pure bliss. Don't worry, I will be giving Matt lessons. :)

After the spa treatment, we met the husbands at Olive Garden to celebrate Matt's grandma's birthday! I splurged, and used the rest of my WW bank points, and it was so so good! After lunch we went back to the house and had sinful cake! Chocolate cake with chocolate icing! I feel like I should record points for just typing it!

This morning we had a great Easter service at our church, and Matt even got to play his violin in the worship band!


It was a packed house, such a great sight to see... nearly 200 people praising God and worshiping.

After church we headed to Plano to have lunch with Matt's family, grandparents and cousins. It was fun being with everyone and we enjoyed the great food his grandma cooked! Mmm mmm mmm!

Sorry no family pics... I refused to be in any pictures because of the nasty humidity and windy weather! Ick!
