How beautiful is God's creation!? I have a love/hate relationship with flying. I love the amazing views, but I hate take-off and landing! Luckily, we had the best pilots out there, because they were the smoothest flights I've ever been on! Whew :)
We had an awesome time in Oak Grove, MO last weekend! Matt was asked to be the D-Now speaker again, and he did a great job! It was fun getting to see the youth again and to see our friends from OBU. The theme for the weekend was 'Surrender' and Matt spoke from Mark 8:27-35, 1 Timothy 6:6-10, Revelation 3, and Matthew 6:25-34. It was a challenge to reassess the priorities and to let go of spiritual strongholds.

WW update: before the trip I was down 7 pounds! After the trip... ehhh... haha. Actually I didn't gain much, but I totally didn't lose anymore. But that's ok! I've been keeping up with my exercising, which I'm really enjoying!
To anyone who may be doing WW right now too, here is a snack(dessert) that I find VERY yummy! They taste like our wedding cake, and for 3 mini cupcakes they are only 1 point!! They are by Hostess and come in many flavors. (and by putting them on a glass plate it makes them taste even yummier hehe)
I like those mini-cupcakes, too. Maybe I should put mine on a pretty plate! Glad all went well in KC!
