Where did July go?!

I am so sad! I've never ever missed an entire month before on my blog! July was just so busy that I didn't have time to sit down and write a single blog post.

To recap July:

- We started the month off by taking a little trip up to Northwest Arkansas for our friends' wedding! It was a beautiful wedding, and so nice to see college friends again. It was my first time going to North Arkansas and i must say, I am a big fan of it! The mountains are gorgeous!

- The next big event was girls weekend in Houston! My sister, niece and I drove down to Houston to spend some time with my parents. So it was really girls weekend plus my dad haha. It was a really fun time of shopping, relaxing and eating some really good food! I missed Matt on this trip, but I think he had fun hanging with the boys!

I love this picture! My niece LOVES my iPad, so I downloaded a bunch a free baby apps, and it will keep her entertained for a while! She is painting a pretty picture :)

- Then came youth camp! I wasn't able to go because I had just taken off time at work, but Matt went for half the week and had a really good time, despite being out in this awful Texas heat all day, every day!

And that all brings us to last week, which was VBS! Much like camp, it was very hard for me to attend VBS because I work in Dallas and our church is in Fort Worth. But Matt was able to go most days, and I went one of the nights. It looked like the kids were really enjoying it! I wish I could've been more involved!

I still need to get pics up of our guest room! It's done, but right now it's our "laundry folding room." So once we get it cleaned up I'll take the pics! Haha
