This little guy was the inspiration for Caleb's nursery. When we did our first clothes shopping trip for him, I saw this elephant and turned to Matt and said "we have to get him!!" Before I saw this stuffed animal, I never really had a "thing" for elephants. In fact, I always wanted either a bear or turtle theme for our boy's nursery. Well those both went way out the window because now I am hooked on cute little elephants!
We've been looking for bedding for a while now, but there just aren't any cute elephant themed bedding options out there! So I looked into getting it custom made, but it was really expensive. Then, I found it, in the last place I expected to ever get our bedding from...Pottery Barn Kids. Don't get me wrong, i've always LOVED their baby bedding but it was always way too expensive! Well, surprisingly, it was still cheaper than getting it custom made! So we have decided on THE bedding for Caleb's nursery!! We are so excited!
We just love it so much and can't wait to get his nursery all set up! We are probably not going to set anything up till December, which sounds sooo far from now, but it's actually not that far away at all, about 60ish days?! I'm already working on his wall art, at least that can be custom made, haha!
I am creating cute elephant art on the computer and putting them in shadow box frames, and they are going to be so adorable! I want to try really hard to not buy anything for his walls...I want all of that to be made by us. I think it will be special that way.
Of course, once the nursery is finished, I will post pictures of it for you all to see. :)
