35 weeks - 5 more weeks!

FIVE. WEEKS. LEFT!!!! I really need to start kicking it into high gear now! We got a lot done this week (his closet is all cleaned out now!) but we still have a lot left on the to-do list. We'll get there though...we will! This week I want to get the hospital bag packed and all his clothes (sheets, blankets, ect.) washed. And we still need to buy his coming home outfit!

The symptoms are still on the rise, and as much as I want to enjoy these last 5 weeks, it's getting pretty hard to enjoy the pregnancy anymore. I developed a rash on my entire belly last week, and yesterday at the appointment my doctor said it was PUPPPs. I read more about it online and sure enough it describes it to a T. It is a harmless rash that develops at the end of the third trimester to only 1% of pregnant women! An interesting fact I read was 70% of that 1% of women are usually carrying boys. Sadly there is no cure for it, and it will stick with me until he is born. Until then, I can use anti-itch cream, which honestly does nothing to help the itching! It's going to be a loooong 5 weeks!

From here on out, Caleb is just putting on weight. His kidneys are fully developed now, and his liver can process some waste products.

Size of baby: a honeydew melon (5 1/4 pounds and over 18 inches long.)

Total weight gain: Still around 25 pounds. I thought I would be packing on the pounds fast by now, but i'm really not.

Maternity Clothes: All the time for work clothes, but i'm still able to wear my normal PJ's

Boy or Girl? It's a BOY!!!!!! Caleb James

Movement: still moving around all the time! I'm shocked he can still move as much as he can with such little space in there!

Sleep: Sleep is surprisingly still good, with an occasional bad night hear and there.

Anything you miss? Bending over is still the big thing I miss.

Cravings? pasta, french fries, and hamburgers still

Symptoms: back pain, exhaustion and this darn belly rash!

Any fears? just all the unknowns!

Best moment of the week: Getting surprise baby gifts in the mail!
