Home Tour: Dining Room

The dining room. The room we never spend time in and acts as the "catch all" room since it's right off the front door. I have been thinking of a new look for this room ever since we signed the lease. We had plans of buying a new round dining table and new chairs, until dollar signs started taking over my brain and we decided to just keep our super tall rectangle dining set. So, after all those thoughts and plans, nothing is new in this room except the centerpiece!

Tada! It still seems like it's missing something in the left corner, but we will deal with that later haha.

The newbie in the room! I got this gorgeous vase at JoAnn's for $12 (marked down from $35) and the placemat is from Ikea for $3. Love. It.

THE STICKS! They safely made it through the horrific move! I usually put them in my car and move them myself, but the movers came and took them before I had the chance to grab them. Not one of those sticks broke!

Sneak peak into the kitchen. I'm loving the arches in this place! (but if I could change one thing about this apartment, I would make the light fixture centered with the table!)

The foyer is off to the side of the dining room.

So that the foyer isn't left out, haha, here's our sweet little foyer! The key holder is another good buy from JoAnn's, got it for $5!

And that is our dining room! We've been here for 2 weeks and have yet to eat in this room! Some day though, we will enjoy a delicious meal at that table (while dreaming of a round table, I kid I kid).
