Home Tour: Our Sunroom

Since not all the rooms are completely done yet, I'm going to just show you room by room over the next few weeks as they become finished. I got this idea from my friend and Tri Chi sister, Brittney!

So, the first room that we finished was our sunroom. It was a very easy room to decorate because it is the smallest room in our apartment. Welcome to our sunroom!

Don't you just love the morning sun shining through windows? It is high up on my favorites list! (Specially when it's Saturday sun!)

Walking into the sunroom you'll see our bookshelf and server table. Our bookshelf is still a work in progress, and it leans and wobbles because it got pretty damaged in the move. We had ZERO room for our server table in the dining room, so my husband thought of this awesome idea! I think it works great and it will be where I put my seasonal decorations.

Here's a close up of the bookshelf. We don't have a fireplace (which i'm surprisingly ok with) so our bookshelf got all of the fireplace decorations. I think it's going to work out just fine :)

This is a jar of sand. Duh. Haha, but not just ANY jar of sand! This is sand from the exact spot where Matt proposed to me! We even took some shells that were around the area as well. It was definitely interesting explaining to airport security why we had it, but i'm so glad we got that sand!

My mother-in-law got me this beautiful cross for my birthday this year! I think it looks great in our sunroom :)

This pretty door leads to our a-maz-ing indoor storage unit. It even has carpet! We call it the "holiday closet" because 50% of what's inside is Christmas, Easter and Fall decorations. Love it!

Last but not least, a picture showing how much Jade LOVES this room!
Sun, warmth, and coziness.

And there is our sunroom! You will be seeing a lot more of this room when Christmas comes to town! It's the perfect room for a Christmas tree, don't ya think? :)
