Waiting, and more waiting

I am officially on my maternity leave now! I didn't want to take the chances of going into labor while at work, and also taking the chances of being stuck in Dallas traffic while being in labor. Doesn't sound like much fun to me!

I am really enjoying this time to clean the apartment some more and rest. Everyone keeps telling me to "rest now" so I am trying my best to do that! I am not sleeping well at night anymore, so I am just exhausted all the time.

March 3rd came and went...I really thought that was going to be the day! Although, I will say I thought something was going to happen that night! I was feeling pretty "crampy" but it was just a constant cramp. No rhythm. Bummer.

Then I thought the 4th would be the day! It has to be! Nope. Nothing. Yesterday afternoon we decided to go to the airport and watch the planes take off and land to pass the time. DFW airport has a really cool look out plaza, and it's really relaxing.




So here we are, on the 5th, and still no signs. My mom said since I stressed so much about him being a leap day baby he will come a day late now! I'm actually ok with that...that would make him come on March 9, and my birthday is May 9. So that would be kind of cool, but we are ready to meet him NOW! I don't know how far I can push my patience! :)

Hoping to write that fun "he's here!" post soon! Till then, we will keep waiting.....
