Since Monday, this is what Caleb does during nap time. He "talks" to the elephants on his mobile instead of sleeping. And every time I go in to put his paci back in his mouth to sooth him to sleep, he gives me the biggest cheesiest grin and won't take the paci. This will go on for an hour (or longer).
Today was a very rough day. He only took one 30 minute nap at noon, just long enough for me to make a quick lunch, scarf it down, put dishes in the dishwasher and attempt to fold laundry, but he woke up right when I started. And by "wake up" I mean full on cry/scream. He cried almost every hour today. I'm not sure if he's teething or what, but if this isn't teething I don't want to know what teething is like!
I really hope this is just a phase he's going through because our apartment is starting to look like something that needs to be on that hoarders show.
