Once it was finished I put him in it and he gave me the biggest smile! He played with all the toys on it and kept looking up at me with this "is this really all mine, mommy?" look on his face. It was so sweet! I'm so glad he loves it! Maybe it was a good thing I waited till now to put it together, because at 4 months I don't think he would've grabbed at the toys or even interacted with them.

Bottom up!
None of us slept really well last night. Caleb has been sleeping on his side for a while now, but last night he rolled all the way onto his tummy with his bottom in the air! Caleb liked the new sleeping position I think, but for some reason was just fussy last night. Almost every hour he fussed in his sleep. I didn't sleep well because I was worried that he was on his tummy. Around 2am I went in his room to turn him onto his side, but of course that didn't last but 2 seconds! Matt didn't sleep well because of the fussiness coming from the monitor and he just got back from a trip to Alabama and I think he was too tired to sleep, if that makes sense.
It's just been an off week for all of us with Matt traveling most of the week. Caleb spent the night with Matt's parents on Wednesday night since I leave at 7am for work. Without Matt's help it is incredibly hard on the mornings I work to get myself ready and get Caleb fed and ready. I was very thankful that they let him sleep over at their house, but I missed him SO much it hurt. I didn't know what to do with myself! It was an extremely weird feeling and every time I saw Caleb's elephant I teared up. I was so so so happy to have him back in my arms Thursday night! I let him sleep in my arms a little longer last night and didn't care if it's the wrong thing to do.
In other news, I finally put together Caleb's bounce-a-bout activity gym. Stupid me kept seeing "9+" on the top corner of the box thinking it meant it's for 9 month old babies. I just noticed the other day that in the bottom corner it said "4mo+"....oops. The "9+" meant it has 9+ toys included. Poor baby could have been enjoying this awesome toy for a few months now!
I put him in his bumbo seat next to me while I put it all together. The entire time he watched very intently and when it started actually looking like something he could play with he started to get REAL excited!

Great pics! I'm glad you set up the activity gym. I think you're right.... 2 months ago he wouldn't have enjoyed it like he will now. Love that little man;))). I can just imagine his excitement while he watched you put it together!
