I don't blog enough about all the little daily sweet, cute things Caleb does, so I'm gonna start now and hopefully keep this up.
Today I had one of those no good very bad days (which could be a blog post in itself but I won't bore you with a big bad rant). I came home from work with a horrible migraine, the kind that makes you feel like vomiting and light from lamps feel like your looking straight into the sun.
I began crying because the pain was so intense and I felt like I was going to pass out. A few minutes later Matt came home with Caleb. Caleb was all smiles! He looked more cute than he did yesterday. With tears streaming down my face, I said "hi sweetie, mommy loves you" and his beginning of a smile faded into a worried and concerned look. That made me cry more! This time because he was just so darn cute and I am beyond blessed to be his mommy! I love how he is picking up on emotions of others. He is one sensitive little boy!
Last week when I was feeding him his rice cereal, our cat Jade was messing around in the kitchen and acting out. I yelled in a stern voice "Jade! Stop." Caleb stopped eating from the spoon and looked up at me with that same worried look. He does this every time I get onto the cat, which is a lot these days!
Caleb is really starting to laugh a lot more now! What really gets him going is when you scare him. Last night Matt was scaring him and I got it on video. Nothing scares this boy! I have a feeling he is going to love horror movies, ha!
