Finally "cold" enough to wear this onesie! It was the very first thing Matt bought him. |
It was a jam packed weekend, but the good kind of jam packed. We all slept in on Saturday and around 8:20ish we all rolled out of bed. Caleb and I parked ourselves on the couch while Matt helped our friend Bryce move into his new apartment. We a fun Saturday morning together, good Mother-Son bonding time! Matt came home around 11am and we had lunch and then headed out to shop (good sales going on!) but ended up leaving empty handed, sad day.
Checking out all the Christmas gear in the store, we are SO excited about Christmas! |
Saturday evening we met up with my sister, bro-in-law and sweet niece, Kaley, to have dinner. We haven't seen them in a few months, which is crazy since we live 30 minutes away from each other. Kaley adores Caleb, so it was fun seeing the 2 of them together. They are precious cousins!
Cherishing these little moments. |
We had our normal Sunday morning routine—church, lunch, nap—and around 4:30pm Caleb and I woke up from our naps (no guilt what-so-ever for that almost 3 hour nap....it was rainy and we needed it!) We then all got ready to go over to Matt's grandparents home for a birthday dinner for Matt's dad! It was a really fun evening and when it came time to open presents, Caleb was surprised with a gift too! He squealed and was so so happy! It's a toy that helps with walking, so he won't be able to use it for a while, but you can also lay it flat and play with it that way. He's going to have so much fun!
When we were leaving, Matt's grandmother (we call her Mo) got a dish towel to clean up a little bit of spit up on him. He grabbed that dish towel and didn't let go of it till we put him in his crib that night. He's such a silly boy. Watch this dish towel end up being his lovey. That would be a Caleb thing to do.
