7 months!

Caleb, I don't know how it's possible, but you are 7 months old today! We are on the road towards your first birthday, which will be here tomorrow. I think this is the best age so far! You are so fun and hilarious! You keep us laughing constantly!

I have no idea how much you weigh or your length....but I am going to guess around 18 pounds and 26 inches long.

You are still wearing 6 month clothes. However, 6 month pants are a joke right now, so we stick to the 3 month pants for now. 6 month shorts are fine.

You are still wearing size 2 diapers, but we are about to bump up to size 3's.

You are still an awesome sleeper, woohoo! 2 naps a day, morning (1.5 hr) and afternoon (2 hr). You are sleeping 11-12 hours at night and normally always wake up around 8:30am. Thank you sweetie.

You are still having 5 bottles a day, all of them being 6 ounces.

You still have a bowl of rice cereal before your last bottle of the evening. A bowl = 2 tbls rice and 3 tbls formula.

You recently started having 1 solid meal a day, at lunch. We started with green beans (which you hated) and then sweet potatoes, which you love.

The drooling has almost completely stopped, as well as the spitting up (with a few dribbles every now and then).

Still no teeth.

You are a pro at sitting now! If you are sitting on the floor playing and I need to do some chores, I will put pillows around you just in case you fall, but you've never needed them.

We are working with you on trying to crawl, but you are showing no interest in it.

You can walk when we hold your hands. It is the cutest thing. At this point we think you will skip crawling completely.

You love, love, love Thomas the Tank Engine! A whole new side of you comes out when that show is on, and it is absolutely adorable. I already saw that the real Thomas is coming to Grapevine right after you turn a year old. We are definitely going to "meet" him and let him take us for a train ride.

You are saying the H, M, G, and B sounds. You are mostly saying "mamama" and "bababa." You recently learned how to click your tongue against the top of your mouth, it's too cute! Whenever you see Jade you say "hey" or at least that's what it sounds like to us.

You are so content when you play by yourself. I am very thankful for this when I need to do laundry, dishes, and clean.

You have started to laugh at anything now. You laugh when your diaper is being changed, you laugh mid-feeding, you laugh when I just look at you funny. It's pretty cute!

You grab and take everything now! We have to make a "Caleb arch" on the table at dinner so you won't grab something you shouldn't have.

When we are feeding you your bottle, you love to grab our lips, nose, cheeks, chin, hair, etc. You laugh every time you do it too!

You hardly ever cry. It amazes us! You only cry if you are beyond tired, we take something you shouldn't have away from you, or if you are hungry. Most of the time it's a whimper, not an actual cry.

You are super wiggly when we are changing your diaper! It's a lot harder to change you now, and i've even had to say a few "no sir's" to you.

Caleb, you are the sweetest little boy and becoming so handsome! You are starting to look like a little toddler to me in your face, which makes me sad and happy at the same time. We love you more than you'll ever know!
