Pumpkin Patch(es)!

Matt and I have gone to the pumpkin patch every fall since we got married. We were always that couple that took pictures on the hay bales, in front of all the pumpkins, pulled a wagon with our pumpkins all around the pumpkin patch....with no kids. I always felt incredibly silly doing those things with no kids but I love the pumpkin patch! It's up there on my list of favorite holidays...even though it's not a holiday. I love it like it's Christmas.

SO, all that to say I could. not. wait. to go to the pumpkin patch this year with Caleb! The fact that he's sitting all on his own now made me even more excited to go and take cute pictures of him with all the pumpkins. (By the way, he was the cutest little punkin there, hands down!)

Since I love the pumpkin patch so much, there is no way I can have too much pumpkin patch time. We went twice. In one day. To two different farms.

Matt, Caleb and I got up early on Saturday morning, ate breakfast, and headed to the pumpkin patch! I was way more excited than Caleb (and Matt)! The first one we went to was in Flower Mound. This is the one Matt and I always went to, so we kind of feel a little connection to it. I love how they line up all the pumpkins in straight lines and they have tons of photo ops for kids. Caleb was way too interested in everything going on (the hay ride, tractors, pumpkins galore, all the people..) that he wouldn't look at the camera for anything! I only got one picture of him smiling and looking [near] the camera, but I am so happy with that one picture!

After a nap and some down time at home, we headed out to the second one which was in Celina at the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm. Mark, Katie (Mark's sweet girlfriend), Mimi and Pappy joined us for this one! We had so much fun and by the end of it Caleb was dunzo. We had so much fun on our mini tour of Pumpkin Patches today, and will be a day I won't soon forget!

  1. Wish I could've been there! Maybe next year Poppy and I can do that (along with a stop at the fair!) Caleb looks so wonderful in the overalls;))
