32 weeks - 8 weeks left!

8 weeks to go! I'm still feeling pretty good most days, and very thankful for that! The one thing that has really been bothering me lately is my back. I'm really feeling all the extra weight in my belly and I've picked up on the pregnancy waddle haha! I can totally tell that Caleb hit a big growth spurt this week. He still rolls around a ton, but they are a little slower now that he is running out of room. Matt had his hand on my belly last night just feeling him roll around and then Caleb really stuck his leg or foot out and Matt was shocked at how much bigger he felt!

This week i'm gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to Caleb. In fact, he'll gain a third to half of his birth weight during the next 7 weeks as he fattens up for survival outside the womb. He now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair! His skin is also becoming soft and smooth as he plumps up in preparation for birth.

Size of baby: a large jicama (around 3.75 pounds and around 16.7 inches long!)

Total weight gain: I'm sure i've gained a pound..I can tell he is growing like a weed and so am I! haha

Maternity Clothes: All the time for work clothes, but i'm still able to wear my normal PJ's

Movement: he's still an active little guy! The kicks continue to get stronger and the rolls are getting bigger!

Sleep: Sleep is still really good (when i'm not sick..like I am right now!)

Anything you miss? Bending over, getting off the couch easily, eating chocolate without feeling bad about it, sleeping on my stomach and back.

Cravings? mac & cheese and french fries. It's so weird how the cravings (and symptoms) from the first trimester come back.

Symptoms: nausea and back pain.

Any fears? not really any this week

Best moment of the week: We have our first shower today!! I am so excited!
