Craft time with Mommy

Last week Caleb and I did a little craft together. I got the idea from Pinterest of course. I'm SO thankful for Pinterest! This is such a fun and cute idea that I would have never thought about doing!

It's a super cheap and easy craft to do with kids and babies! I made WAY too much salt dough, so I would say cut it in half if you have tiny hands. :)

I used 1 cup salt, 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup of warm water. Once you make the hand impression, bake it for 3 hours at 200 degrees. I let it sit out for a few days as well to fully dry out.

I then painted the whole thing white and then once that was dry painted everything else. Lastly, I mod podged the whole thing, wrote his name and age on the back and tied twine through the hole. SO easy! I absolutely love how it turned out and it looks adorable on the tree.

The next ornament I want to make is of his foot and paint "mistletoes" on it....again a Pinterest idea! I have a feeling it's going to be a Very Pinterest Christmas this year! :)
